About

The Regina Skateboard Coalition, founded in 2019, is a non-profit association. Our mission is to develop inclusive facilities, events and activities that support the physical, psychological and social wellbeing of Regina youth through skateboarding and skateboard culture.

Regina’s Rich Indoor Skating History

Between 1999 and 2015, Regina was home to the longest-running indoor skate park in Canada. Situated in the centre of the city, this modest, 7,000 square foot facility provided a safe, accessible, inclusive space for Regina youth to exercise and develop their skill. The park’s success stemmed from partnership and collaboration. City of Regina provided RSC (formerly known as SK8 Regina) with low-cost access to the Heritage Building, while RSC operated the park non- commercially to keep admission costs low and to ensure that all park revenue was reinvested in skating.
